This role ensures that all impacted users—Project Managers, Service Managers, Supervisors, Commercial teams, Contractors, Consultants, and Support staff—are confident and capable in performing their responsibilities within Unifier. This role sits within the Business Change workstream and is critical in achieving end-user readiness, adoption, and sustained capability post-go-live.

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Proven experience as a Training Lead, Learning & Development Manager, or similar role in large-scale technology or business transformation programmes.
  • Experience delivering training for enterprise systems (ideally contract management, project controls, or workflow-driven tools).
  • Strong communication and virtual facilitation skills.
  • Ability to interpret business processes and translate them into training outcomes.
  • Familiarity with NEC4 contract management processes desirable.
  • Experience working within utilities sector—water, electricity, or gas—is a significant advantage due to alignment with asset-heavy, supply chain-driven project operations.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Background in Project Controls, Commercial Management, or Digital Transformation.
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera Unifier, Oracle Primavera Cloud, or P6.
  • Change Management certifications (e.g., PROSCI, APMG Change).

Key responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive, role-based training strategy covering all NEC4 business processes in Unifier (Early Warnings, Compensation Events, PM/Proposed Instructions, Programmes, Payments, Defects, Certificates, etc.). Align the strategy to Business Change milestones, Readiness Gates BR-1 and BR-2, and cutover plans.
  • Develop a detailed training delivery plan, including audience segmentation, training waves, training schedule, session formats, and required pre-requisites. Develop “Train-the-Trainer” models for Super Users and Operational Leads. Coordinate with Business Change, Technical, and Super User networks to finalise training sequencing. Track readiness progress against KPIs and Readiness Checklists.
  • Build a deep understanding of the NEC4 Accelerator configuration, role-permissions, and workflows. Understand system behaviour across all NEC4 processes.
  • Provide direction to content creators on structure and format of user guides, SOPs, eLearning modules, scenario selection for Lot 1 (engineering construction) and Lot 2 (professional services), tailoring content for Contractors, Consultants, PMs, Supervisors, Commercial teams, and View-Only users. Validate accuracy of material prepared by others. Deliver virtual training sessions (Teams/Zoom) for diverse Superuser audiences across Water & Wastewater core businesses of Client, and to Contractors, and Consultants. Ensure that users are trained in their role-specific NEC4 Unifier responsibilities. Facilitate Q&A sessions, scenario walkthroughs, and practical system demonstrations.
  • End user training will be administered by the Client. Training Lead needs to track if there are deviations from the agreed Training Plan, advise adjustments and mitigations accordingly.
  • Use analytics, user attendance data, comprehension quizzes, post-training surveys, and Go-Live performance indicators. Identify skills gaps and recommend targeted reinforcement. Plan follow-up training after go-live to address new user onboarding, repeated errors or low compliance behaviours, updates in Unifier workflows or governance. Support Super User networks to become self-sufficient and drive peer training.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across all business units. Manage training logistics, invites, calendars, recordings, and learning materials repository.
