We are hiring a SAP Finance Business Analyst (with SCM Integration Focus) who will act as the functional authority for SAP Finance, with a strong understanding of how Supply Chain systems interface with SAP S/4 HANA Finance. The role focuses on safeguarding financial integrity, accounting correctness, and SAP simplicity, while enabling seamless end-to-end processes across procure-to-pay, inventory, and logistics executed outside SAP.
Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as SAP Finance gatekeeper for ERP, approving all Finance-related designs impacting SAP.
- Owning Finance process design where Supply Chain execution happens outside SAP.
- Defining and validating interfaces between non-SAP SCM systems and SAP S/4HANA, covering:
- Procure-to-Pay
- Goods movements and inventory valuation
- Invoice matching and financial postings
- Month-end and period-close impacts
- Ensuring financial integrity, controls, and auditability across integrated processes.
- Strongly recommending SAP out-of-the-box Finance solutions, challenging bespoke or over-engineered designs.
- Working closely with Technology, Business stakeholders, and external vendors/system integrators.
- Conducting Fit-gap analysis and providing solutions on limitations and improvements within the process framework.
Your Profile:
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Proven experience as a SAP Finance Business Analyst in ERP environments (S/4HANA preferred).
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance processes and controls.
- Clear experience with Finance integration touchpoints with Supply Chain systems, especially where the SCM solution is not on SAP.
- Solid knowledge of MM–FI integration concepts (no need to be a pure SCM consultant).
- Experience reviewing and governing system interfaces and integrations.
- Confident stakeholder management and ability to challenge solution design decisions.
- 8+ years of total IT experience.
