We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Practice Lead – Data & Analytics with a strong background in pre-sales, solution design, and delivery. The ideal candidate will come from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 System Integrator (Large or Mid-Cap) and have extensive experience working across Cloud Hyperscalers, preferably Snowflake, Microsoft, Databricks, AWS, or GCP. This is a key role responsible for driving revenue growth (~$15M portfolio), managing pre-sales and solutioning engagements, and building strong customer and partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Growth Leadership: Drive revenue growth by mining existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and cross-selling solutions across BFS, Insurance, and other industries.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CxOs, VPs) in existing and prospective client organisations. Lead solutioning efforts for RFPs, RFIs, and large-scale proposals. Build solutions with the support of Technical and Functional SMEs. Present bid defense strategies to C-suite executives.
- Demand Generation & Fulfilment: Work with internal delivery and talent acquisition teams to fulfil demand and ensure seamless execution of engagements. Strong hands-on experience in Data, Analytics, and AI solutions. Extensive experience designing and delivering Enterprise Data Platforms on Cloud, Data Migration Programs, and Data Consulting.
- Ecosystem & Partnership Development: Build relationships with Hyperscalers, industry consultants, and advisory firms to position the company as a thought leader.
- Operational Excellence: Improve and fine-tune pre-sales and solutioning processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% within the UK, Europe, or globally for sales and client engagements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15-18 years of experience, with at least 5-8 years hands-on in cloud-based Data & Analytics solutions.
- Prior experience in Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales, and Delivery within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 System Integrator.
- Strong experience managing mid-size to large-size deals and presenting bid defenses to CxOs / CxO-1 level stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Hyperscalers (preferably Snowflake, Microsoft, Databricks, AWS, GCP).
- Track record of successfully leading Enterprise Data Platform builds, Data Migration, and Data Consulting engagements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and strategic approach to customer engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Cloud Platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP, or Databricks).
- Experience working with large financial services clients (BFS, Insurance).
- Ability to mentor and groom talent for leadership roles.
