OT Industrial Cyber Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a OT Cyber Security Consultant with a passion for protecting industrial operations. You will work with organisations across energy, utilities, manufacturing and critical infrastructure to identify cyber risks, strengthen defences and build long-term resilience across OT and IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with industrial clients to assess cyber risks across control systems, automation and operational networks.

• Support risk and vulnerability assessments within OT and ICS environments.

• Develop and implement cyber security frameworks, controls and governance aligned with recognised standards and sector regulations.

• Deliver assurance and oversight programmes to improve compliance, visibility and risk management.

• Manage project delivery ensuring quality, technical accuracy and commercial success.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or a related field.

• Professional certification or progress toward one such as ACP, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC or CISA.

• Experience in cyber security, either within consultancy or an industrial organisation managing operational systems.

• Familiarity with OT and ICS technologies and knowledge of key standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and IEC 62443.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with a practical and delivery-focused mindset.
