We’re looking for a senior Oracle DBA to take ownership of critical enterprise database environments within a large-scale financial services programme. This is a hands-on, high-accountability role suited to someone comfortable operating as the final escalation point during major incidents.
Key experience required:
- Oracle 12c / 19c / 23ai
- RAC, Data Guard, ASM & RMAN
- Performance tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM & SQL Tuning Advisor
- HA/DR architecture design and failover management
- Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB)
- Patching, upgrades & database security
- Linux, Solaris & AIX environments
- Exposure to AWS or IBM Cloud
- Additional knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL or DB2 beneficial
You’ll be leading P1/P2 incident resolution, improving resilience and observability, reducing technical debt, and mentoring junior DBAs.
