We are partnering with a growing global organization within the pharmaceutical services sector that is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across its Comparator Sourcing and Clinical Trial Supply solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong network within the clinical trials space and a proven track record of winning comparator sourcing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, industry events, referrals, and targeted outreach
  • Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO clients
  • Generate and manage a robust pipeline of comparator sourcing opportunities
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
  • Support RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, MSAs, and Service Level Agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client solutions
  • Cross-sell additional clinical trial support services to existing and prospective customers
  • Represent the business at industry conferences and networking events
  • Track market activity, competitor trends, and reasons for won/lost opportunities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of business development experience within comparator sourcing, clinical trial supplies, or a related pharmaceutical services environment
  • Demonstrated success in winning and closing comparator sourcing opportunities
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial comparator requirements and supply chain processes
  • Established network within pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or clinical research organizations
  • Experience managing commercial discussions, proposals, and contract documentation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
