We’re looking for a seasoned Mainframe Middleware Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise across CICS Liberty, z/OS and modern Java runtime environments. This is a hands-on infrastructure engineering role focused on stability, scalability, security and modernisation within enterprise banking environments.

Key experience required:

  • Strong CICS Systems Engineering background across z/OS
  • CICS Liberty / IBM WebSphere Liberty runtime configuration and support
  • JVM tuning, diagnostics and performance optimisation on z/OS
  • RACF, TLS, SAF integration and enterprise security controls
  • REST/API enablement and modern integration patterns
  • Operational monitoring, logging, dumps, traces and SMF analysis
  • Experience managing JVM server lifecycle within CICS
  • CI/CD awareness and automated deployment practices
  • High availability, DR planning and capacity management
