- Proven ownership of non-functional requirements at enterprise scale, including:
- Resilience and high availability (clustering, active/passive designs, failover strategies)
- Performance and scalability (sizing, tuning, load characteristics under migration and BAU conditions)
- Disaster recovery, recovery time, and recovery point objectives
- Operational stability, run readiness, and production support models
Qualifications
- Essentials:
- Strong experience designing and assuring large-scale SAP landscape architectures and complex integrations
- Ability to lead critical root-cause analysis during high-impact incidents and drive long-term corrective action
- Hands-on collaboration with testing teams to define and execute performance, resilience, and failover testing
- Solid infrastructure understanding across operating systems, networking, storage, virtualisation, and security
- Confidence to provide architectural direction, challenge, and assurance across delivery teams and vendor partners
- Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Very strong hands-on delivery credentials
- A track record of owning and resolving hard technical problems
- The confidence to operate at pace with senior visibility and scrutiny
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments
