We are looking for a skilled Smallworld Engineer to support and enhance network inventory and GIS solutions within critical infrastructure environments. You will work across configuration, development and support of core Smallworld products to ensure performance, stability and data integrity across complex utility systems.
What you'll do:
- Develop, configure and maintain Smallworld Core (SW4 / SW5), PNI, Electric Office, Gas Office and related modules.
- Customise and optimise GSA, DM, NRM, EO, FME and other GIS applications to meet project requirements.
- Install, patch and upgrade operating systems, Smallworld environments and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve complex application and system issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years experience in Smallworld PNI, Core SW4/SW5, EO, GDO, GTO, GSS, GSA, DM, MES or NRM.
- Proficiency in Magik, Java, VMDS, Oracle and solid SQL scripting skills.
- Strong background in system administration, debugging and performance tuning.
- Understanding of Citrix environments, version control systems and development processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
