This is a senior, experienced BASE24-eps Developer role to provide end-to-end development across the payment system with a focus on modernizing and evolving the BASE24 platform. In this role, you will act as a BASE24-eps Developer, customizing different BASE24-eps components based on the requirements, scripting, including the migration from BASE24-classic to BASE24-eps.
Your responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end Development for BASE24-eps system.
- Understand the Customer requirements and prepare the Design/Functional Specifications if necessary.
- End-to-end Unit Test Plan with execution strategy which includes all the development-related core changes.
- Prepare the Implementation plan for Test & Production Systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams whenever necessary.
- Basic understanding of BASE24-classic components, Bridge Concept for the Migration Project.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO8583, PSD2 etc).
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience and solid understanding of BASE24-eps development and transaction processing flows.
- Understanding of script uses and its customization.
- Experience working on large-scale payment switch systems (ATM, POS, SWITCH).
- Deep knowledge of:
- ISO8583 messaging (VISA/LINK), Journals, TDEs, Tokens, STM/PSTM.
- BASE24-eps system configuration and control, Layers, Integrated Server, SAF/Context Manager, Database Tables, Perl make.
- HP NonStop Tandem architecture.
- PATHWAY, TACL, Enscribe, C/C++, Java, XPNET/NCPCOM.
- Development, scripting & compilations.
- Transaction monitoring, debugging, inspecting and configurations.
- BASE24-eps Configurations (Message Delivery, Prefix, Router, Authorization, HISO/BICI, Acquirer, Issuer, Process Control, Environments Management), Trace, DALCI.
- Web Services configuration and controls.
- TSS, ACI desktop.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Very strong hands-on delivery credentials.
- A track record of owning and resolving hard technical problems.
- The confidence to operate at pace with senior visibility and scrutiny.
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments.
- Hands-on involvement in BASE24-classic to BASE24-eps migration programmes.
