6-month contract opportunity for an experienced AWS Data Engineer / Data Analyst to join a large-scale banking and regulatory transformation programme. You’ll work across complex data environments, supporting data analysis, validation, mapping, and reporting initiatives within Treasury and Risk domains.
Key experience required:
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills across large datasets
- Hands-on AWS data engineering experience
- Experience with data mapping, lineage, reconciliation, and quality controls
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical/data specifications
- Exposure to UAT, testing, and implementation support
- Strong stakeholder management across Business and Technology teams
- Financial Services or Banking experience essential
Highly desirable:
- Liquidity, Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting knowledge
- Exposure to LCR, PRA110, ALMM, DILAA/SOC
- Understanding of AI-enabled analytics or automation techniques
Hybrid working - 2 days onsite in either London or Edinburgh. Strong day rates available for the right candidate. Immediate interview slots available.
