Data Analyst – Contract | London / Edinburgh | Hybrid
We're looking for an experienced AWS Data Analyst to join a major financial services transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract. This hybrid role requires 2 days per week onsite in either London or Edinburgh.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse large datasets to support strategic programme delivery
- Build customer and policy data cohorts using AWS and SQL
- Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and reporting
- Produce dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight
- Collaborate with stakeholders across data and analytics teams
- Perform QA of analysis and maintain version-controlled documentation
- Strong SQL expertise
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake and GitLab
- Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight
- Data analysis, reporting and visualisation
- Stakeholder management and problem solving
- QA, documentation and version control
- Experience within banking or financial services is highly desirable
Excellent day rate available. 6-month initial contract with strong extension potential.
