We are looking for a skilled Web GIS Developer to design, develop, and maintain GIS-based web applications and services. The candidate will work closely with project teams to build spatial solutions using ESRI technologies, integrate GIS components with enterprise systems, and support geospatial data management and visualization needs. This role requires strong hands-on experience in GIS development, spatial databases, web technologies, and ArcGIS Enterprise components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain GIS-based web applications using ESRI technologies.
- Build and configure applications using ArcGIS Enterprise components such as ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store.
- Develop custom tools and widgets using JavaScript, React JS, ArcGIS Experience Builder, and related frameworks.
- Support GIS data integration, migration, and transformation using tools like FME.
- Implement server-side components and web services for GIS functionality.
- Work with project teams to understand business requirements and convert them into GIS application features.
- Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and GIS automation using Python and SQL.
- Manage and optimize spatial databases (SQL Server/PostGIS/Oracle Spatial).
- Ensure seamless integration of GIS applications with other enterprise systems and workflows.
- Develop and consume REST APIs, Web Services, and OGC standards (WMS/WFS/KML/GML).
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of GIS applications.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 (Portal, Server, Data Store).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and infrastructure monitoring.
- Customize development of enterprise GIS Servers like ArcGIS.
- Working knowledge of spatial database handling and FME.
- Migration and Development of GIS based applications using ESRI technology.
- Designing of GIS components.
- Server-side programming in ESRI.
- Experience in ArcGIS Experience Builder app with COTS and custom tool through React JS.
- Proficiency in .Net or Java.
- Working knowledge of Spatial Indexing.
- Knowledge and experience with Web Services, Open standards, XML, GML/KML.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
