We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as an AWS Senior Admin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud technologies, system administration (Windows and Linux), infrastructure automation, cloud monitoring, and security. You will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud solutions across our enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement AWS cloud-based solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Deploy and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, Connect, Direct Connect, KMS, and CloudWatch.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based systems for availability, performance, and security using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.
  • Administer Windows and Linux systems on AWS.
  • Manage Active Directory services: DNS, DHCP, DFS; integrate Microsoft AD with AWS and Azure AD.
  • Implement security best practices, manage IAM roles/policies, and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain and document cloud network configurations and diagrams.
  • Support continuity of operations and disaster recovery (COOP/DR) planning and deployment.
  • Evaluate current infrastructure and make recommendations for future usage and optimization.
  • Assist in upgrading, installing, and configuring monitoring solutions for AWS-hosted services.
  • Collaborate across IT and DevOps teams to ensure successful cloud adoption and support.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6–10 years of experience in IT with strong AWS cloud administration skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, including troubleshooting and automation workflows.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud computing principles and IT security risks.
  • Experience with federated identity systems such as Microsoft ADFS, multi-factor authentication, and Azure Active Directory integration.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS networking concepts (e.g., VPC, security groups, routing, Direct Connect).
  • Familiarity with both Windows Server and Linux distributions in an enterprise cloud environment.
  • Prior experience with disaster recovery strategies in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
