Lead Solution Architect | Contract (6-12 Months) Hybrid UK | Strong Day Rate 1-2 days onsite in Luton. Working for Airline client.
We're looking for an experienced Lead Solution Architect to drive end-to-end solution design across large-scale, mission-critical programmes. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams, ensuring multiple workstreams align to a single architecture vision while balancing business outcomes, scalability and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own solution architecture across complex programmes and multiple product teams
- Create architecture roadmaps, standards, guardrails and reusable design patterns
- Lead cross-team integration design, data flows and platform alignment
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient and aligned to enterprise strategy
- Manage architecture governance, risks, dependencies and technical decision-making
- Influence senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor engineering teams and promote architecture best practice
Required Experience
- 6+ years' experience in Solution Architecture within large enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and business functions
