Power Systems Engineer SCADA EMS DMS UK based. Fully remote. Inside IR35.
We are engaged by a major UK energy client on a grid modernisation effort and require a seasoned engineer who understands real operational technology rather than textbook theory.
Role Summary
- Support SCADA, EMS and DMS functions across operational environments
- Contribute to modelling, fault analysis and simulation
- Assist in integration and validation of real time network control systems
- Interface with engineering and vendor teams to solve practical OT challenges
Required Profile
- Experience with a UK DNO or TSO
- Strong grasp of system topology, telemetry and fault scenarios
- Demonstrable hands on SCADA experience and knowledge of IEC 60870 or IEC 61850
- Electrical or Power Systems engineering foundation
Engagement
- Fully remote but must be UK based
