Contract Port Talbot (Hybrid, 1 day onsite) 6-month contract | Competitive day rate
SAP UK Payroll Expert required to support end-to-end configuration, delivery, and optimisation of SAP HCM Payroll within a complex enterprise environment. Strong UK payroll legislative knowledge and hands-on SAP payroll configuration experience essential.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll (UK), including schemas, PCRs, and payroll processing
- Ensure full compliance with UK payroll regulations including HMRC, RTI, NI, tax, pensions, and statutory payments
- Support end-to-end payroll cycles including gross-to-net processing, reconciliation, and issue resolution
- Gather and translate business requirements into SAP payroll solutions
- Support payroll testing, UAT, documentation, and production support
- Integrate Payroll with SAP Time Management and third-party systems
- Assist with statutory reporting including year-end activities (P60, P11D, RTI)
- Support data migration, upgrades, and system enhancements
- Strong SAP HCM Payroll (UK) experience
- Deep understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance
- Experience with RTI submissions and statutory payroll processes
- Strong knowledge of payroll schemas and PCRs
- Experience in SAP Time Management integration
- Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- SAP HR (PA/OM) experience
- Exposure to S/4HANA environments
- Basic ABAP debugging and data migration tools
