The role focuses on ownership of a critical DB2 subsystem, ensuring availability, resilience and performance in a production environment. The scope covers SMP E driven installation and upgrades, tuning of ZPARMS, buffer pools and EDM pools, plus responsibility for backup, recovery and DR design.
There is also exposure to tooling such as Broadcom Platinum and SYSVIEW.
