Test Automation Architect Location: Coventry, UK Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week in the office Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential for extension We're looking for a Test Automation Architect to lead the testing strategy for a large-scale Warehouse Management System (WMS) transformation programme. This is an opportunity to shape automation frameworks, improve test coverage and ensure reliable integration across complex warehouse and supply chain systems. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end automation approach, working closely with engineering, testing, DevOps and business teams to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Define the test automation strategy and architecture. Design reusable frameworks for UI, API and integration testing. Lead end-to-end automation across WMS and connected applications. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Establish automation standards, tools and best practices. Drive shift-left testing and continuous quality improvement. Oversee test data, environments, defect management and automation metrics. Provide technical guidance to automation engineers. Key Skills
