Lab Engineer | Stevenage | 12-Month Contract
We are seeking a hands‑on Lab Engineer to support scientific and laboratory environments within a research and development setting. This is an office-based opportunity where you will play a key role in maintaining reliable, secure and validated IT systems supporting scientific operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, configure and troubleshoot end-user computers and laboratory IT equipment.
- Image and onboard devices, ensuring successful domain and network integration.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and IT/OT networking issues.
- Support scientific instrument dataflows and validated backup solutions.
- Manage incidents, access requests and technical support through ServiceNow.
- Ensure endpoint security and compliance with organisational standards.
Essential Skills:
- Strong Desktop Support / End-User Computing experience.
- Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, firewalls and the OSI model.
- Active Directory and endpoint security.
- Experience supporting GxP validated systems or regulated environments.
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing platforms.
A 12-month contract with competitive rates.
This role is 100% office-based in Stevenage.
