As PR & Communications Manager for GAUCHO, you will play a key role in shaping the brand narrative of one of the UK’s leading lifestyle dining brands. Alongside the Group Marketing Director, you will define and lead our PR strategy, craft impactful narratives, and build strong media and influencer relationships to elevate our voice and visibility. Working closely with teams across the business, you will ensure our communications are aligned, distinctive, and reflective of GAUCHO’s future brand positioning and vision. Your work will drive engagement, grow brand awareness, and strengthen the connection between GAUCHO and our guests. This role requires a proactive, strategic communicator with a passion for food, dining culture, and lifestyle brands, as well as an in‑depth understanding of the current media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy to grow brand awareness, effectively position the GAUCHO brand, and support commercial business goals.
- Ensure all communications, internal and external, reflect GAUCHO's brand identity, tone of voice, and positioning.
- Appoint and manage external PR agencies to ensure delivery of high‑quality coverage at a national and local level.
- Identify cultural, industry, and newsworthy trends to proactively leverage brand storytelling/thought leadership.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key media and influencers securing high quality press/content and collaborations.
- Manage press events, campaign launches, and individual media visits alongside the Ops Team, ensuring seamless execution, exceptional experiences and maximum coverage value.
- Monitor media coverage, producing regular PR performance reports with insight‑driven recommendations.
- Draft compelling press releases, briefing documents, Q&As, and narrative frameworks for senior spokespeople.
- Oversee the maintenance of PR resources including press kits, bios, photography, and partnership decks.
- Curate guestlists to ensure attendance of high‑value media and influencers.
- Work closely with the marketing team to identify and develop strategic lifestyle partnerships that elevate brand and deliver impactful coverage.
- Work closely with the marketing team throughout the full campaign process, from ideation to delivery.
