Gaucho are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our Gaucho Newcastle Team! The successful candidate will be fully accountable for guest experience, finance, sales growth, legal compliance and team development, both FOH and BOH. The Assistant General Managers take charge of the controllable of the P&L as delegated and deliver the budget.
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager:
- Work with the General Manager to execute the plan in place to beat the budget, driving top line sales.
- Oversee team objectives and development plans, and executing the succession plan in place.
- Drive the Gaucho culture, inspire, guide and educate juniors.
- Ensure a fully trained team regarding compliance and achieve above 95% on shield and food audits.
- Support the General Manager with bespoke local initiatives and local advertising.
- Enforce brand standards in regards to revinate and mystery diner.
Requirements for Gaucho Assistant General Manager:
- Excellent communicator and inspirational leader.
- Proven record of managing finance and P&L.
- An in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- WSET Level 2 desirable.
