Gaucho are looking for an experienced Commis Chef to work in one of our London restaurants! You will need to have experience working in a fast paced, busy kitchen, and be keen to grow within the kitchen. Our Commis Chef will be passionate about food and hospitality, and will be able to deliver high quality dishes according to a spec. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Gaucho kitchen where you will have opportunity to develop and grow.

Key Responsibilities of the Commis Chef
- Basic understanding of the brand and the cookery.
- Service of food to assigned task standards.
- To ensure the mise en place is performed to the high standard required at all times.
- To sustain high presentation and correct positioning and cooking of food at all times with guidance from senior chefs.
- To maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and upkeep of equipment.
- To ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties are carried out as instructed by senior chefs.
- To contribute to the building of the team and efficient team spirit and an active interest in employee’s welfare, safety and development.
- To help and maintain a maximum yield in the kitchen in relation to the gross profit and wastage.
