This role takes an office first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office, two days remote, managed around the needs of the business.
The HR Business Partner's role is to work closely with business leaders to provide day to day guidance for business leaders on policies, procedures and people practices. Implementing people plans that align to, and supports, the overall strategic objectives of the organisation and the HR plan.
What will you do?
- Shape and implement people plans for the client group
- Partner with business leaders to understand business goals and translate into workforce strategies
- Implement long term talent plans with the Talent Centre of Excellence and Senior HRBPs
- Identify critical talent gaps and propose solutions (hiring, development, organisational design)
- Support organisational change initiatives, assessing readiness for change and create transition plans
- Utilise data to provide insights and recommendations
- Coach and support senior managers to improve leadership effectiveness through feedback and development planning
- Lead on complex Employee Relations as and when required to support the ER Advisory Team
- Support Senior HRBPs and ad hoc projects when required
Do you have what we're looking for?
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience/qualification
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role
- Full understanding of HR framework and legal process to shape and build solutions
- Experience of working in a HR model with centres of excellence/functional specialists
- Ability to use data to support effective decision making
- Effective at coaching leaders to be their best and promote a positive working environment
- Experience in leading talent reviews and building succession plans
- Knowledge of practical solutions in a variety of HR topics
