From £60,013, £4,750 flex allowance, up to 20% discretionary bonus + benefits

What is the role?

Responsible for developing an annual risk‑based audit strategy and managing delivery of the agreed audit programme. The role will also support the implementation of the risk management framework. This role takes an office‑first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office and two days remote, managed around the needs of the business.

What will you do?

  • Designing and delivering the annual programme of assurance reviews
  • Working autonomously to lead and deliver assurance reviews, with a focus on root cause analysis and value‑add recommendations
  • Oversight of Gatwick audit team in the delivery of audits for Gatwick Airport in line with the agreed annual plan
  • Communication – written and verbal – of key findings and recommendations for improvement at the conclusion of each assurance review to the relevant business stakeholders
  • Preparing reports outlining the delivery of the assurance programme, key messages/findings and tracking of open issues to the Audit, Risk and Finance Committee
  • Oversight and instruction of outsourced specialist internal audit work to ensure timely delivery and maintenance of quality standards
  • Working with the Head of Audit
