This role will be on call one in every five weeks, after full training is completed. Salary from £29,991.81 + Bonus + On call payment + Benefits.

In this role, you will assist our Engineering Stores Manager to deliver a safe, efficient, and resilient Engineering Stores function for London Gatwick. You will be managing Engineering and Fleet spares as well as orders for the wider Gatwick community. You will be a key part of the team responsible for ensuring that assets are ready to support our customers across London Gatwick.

What will you do?

  • Accept, check and confirm supplier stock deliveries into Engineering Stores.
  • Issue stock to customers and deliver across campus to various departments.
  • Check and replenish Main and Forward stores areas.
  • Driving and dropping multiple deliveries around the airport campus both landside and airside.
  • Carry out physical stock and cycle counting processes.
  • Update systems (SAP and Ultimo) to consume stock issues and make corrections as required.
  • Maintain clean and tidy stores.
  • On call duties for out of hours Stores cover.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to connect with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of stock management.
  • Familiar with working in a warehouse.
  • Forklift Licence, Reach and Counterbalance RTIB Licence holder (desirable).
  • Be comfortable using all Microsoft office applications.
