This role will be on call one in every five weeks, after full training is completed. Salary from £29,991.81 + Bonus + On call payment + Benefits.
In this role, you will assist our Engineering Stores Manager to deliver a safe, efficient, and resilient Engineering Stores function for London Gatwick. You will be managing Engineering and Fleet spares as well as orders for the wider Gatwick community. You will be a key part of the team responsible for ensuring that assets are ready to support our customers across London Gatwick.
What will you do?
- Accept, check and confirm supplier stock deliveries into Engineering Stores.
- Issue stock to customers and deliver across campus to various departments.
- Check and replenish Main and Forward stores areas.
- Driving and dropping multiple deliveries around the airport campus both landside and airside.
- Carry out physical stock and cycle counting processes.
- Update systems (SAP and Ultimo) to consume stock issues and make corrections as required.
- Maintain clean and tidy stores.
- On call duties for out of hours Stores cover.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Great team player.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, able to connect with stakeholders across all levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience of stock management.
- Familiar with working in a warehouse.
- Forklift Licence, Reach and Counterbalance RTIB Licence holder (desirable).
- Be comfortable using all Microsoft office applications.
