This role takes an office first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office, two days remote, managed around the needs of the business.
What will you do?
- With support of Procurement Managers, develop Procurement Strategy for assigned categories, aligning commercial review and strategic opportunities with business priorities.
- Provide clear sourcing strategies for BAU commodities to support internal stakeholders and simplify the P2P process.
- Lead project work, with support of the Procurement Managers.
- Provide advice and professional procurement support to internal stakeholders.
- Support completion of commercial and contractual requirements, including end‑to‑end procurement cycle for categories; utilise appropriate methods to keep contracts up to date, including provisions on ESG and DEI.
- Share responsibility for maintaining the SAP supplier database.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- CIPS or willingness to study desirable (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Proven experience supporting strategic procurement with knowledge of goods and services.
- Knowledge of drafting and negotiating contracts to meet significant business objectives and to achieve operational outcomes.
- Knowledge of strategic procurement with the ability to work with and develop category strategies or a strong strategic thinker with quick ability to learn procurement approaches.
- Working knowledge of tender processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ, ITT).
