Job Description
Our client, a prominent company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and organised Stores Person to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure efficient production processes
- Receiving, handling, and storing incoming materials and products
- Ensuring accurate documentation and inventory records are kept up-to-date
- Collaborating with different departments to fulfil material and product requests
- Conducting regular stock takes and auditing inventory for discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean and organised store area in compliance with safety standards
- Operating forklifts and other equipment as necessary
- Assisting in the preparation and dispatch of outgoing goods
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in stores management within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to inventory management
