Solutions Architect | Defence & Digital Transformation |
We're supporting a growing technology consultancy delivering complex digital transformation programmes across the UK Defence and Government sectors.
As a Solutions Architect, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering secure, scalable technology solutions for high-profile clients. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists to design architectures that solve real-world operational challenges.
What you'll be doing
- Designing end-to-end technical solutions across cloud, data, applications, and integration.
- Leading architecture activities from discovery through to implementation.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements.
- Providing technical leadership and governance across project teams.
- Ensuring solutions align with security, compliance, and architectural standards.
- Supporting bid activity, solution proposals, and client growth initiatives.
- Mentoring and developing junior consultants and architects.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure .
- Experience with APIs, systems integration, and modern architecture principles.
- Understanding of security architecture and governance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within Defence, MOD, National Security, or Government environments.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF and defence architecture methodologies.
