Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple medium and large-scale projects, ensuring contractual, technical, commercial, and operational objectives are achieved.
  • Develop project plans, resource requirements, schedules, and delivery timelines while proactively managing risks, priorities, and key milestones.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, equipment mobilisation, testing, logistics, and offshore support activities to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Financial & Commercial Management
  • Manage project budgets, financial performance, invoicing schedules, and forecasting activities.
  • Oversee change control processes and identify variation opportunities to maximise project success and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, project governance, and financial controls.
  • Escalate commercial, operational, or project risks where appropriate.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, offshore personnel, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure expectations are understood and met through effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support client meetings, project reviews, and ongoing customer engagement activities.
  • Contribute to tender submissions and technical proposal development.
  • Project Controls & Documentation
  • Maintain project documentation, reporting, technical specifications, and project tracking systems.
  • Prepare and manage offshore information packs, procedures, and project records.
  • Provide regular project updates and ensure accurate reporting of progress, risks, and performance.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through project reviews, lessons learned, and customer feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution, efficiency, and overall delivery performance.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Proven project management experience within an engineering, offshore, energy, manufacturing, or related technical environment.
  • Experience managing complex equipment projects, including modification, testing, mobilisation, and demobilisation activities.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical handling equipment and associated project delivery requirements.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, develop project plans, and coordinate project execution activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience motivating teams and building effective working relationships.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Project.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Project Management certification (APM, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Previous offshore experience.
  • Experience working with Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, or PLC systems.
