We are seeking a HSE Advisor to support offshore wind operations, providing expert guidance on health, safety and environmental matters across site activities. You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with QHSE standards across both onshore and offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional HSE advice and support to site management
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and high standards of environmental awareness
  • Conduct inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
  • Support incident reporting processes and follow-up actions
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (including RedOnline)
  • Participate in audits and support closure of findings
  • Assist in emergency preparedness, drills, and response planning
  • Deliver toolbox talks, site briefings and contribute to HSE meetings
  • Support QHSE campaigns, initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborate with wider QHSE teams across regions

Requirements

  • Essential
  • Relevant QHSE qualifications
  • Experience within offshore or related industries (renewables preferred)
  • Strong understanding of health and safety compliance and risk management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Certifications: Valid GWO Basic Safety Training (BST), HUET certification, OGUK medical, Chester Step Test (minimum score of 35)
  • Must be willing and able to travel offshore via vessel or helicopter.

  • Auditor or investigation qualifications
  • Experience in quality and environmental management
  • Advanced safety training (First Aid, Working at Height, Confined Space Rescue)
