We are supporting a leading renewable energy organisation on the search for a Senior Offshore HSE Advisor to join a major offshore wind project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high profile installation project, playing a key role in ensuring safety excellence offshore.

As a Senior Offshore HSE Advisor, you will be embedded within offshore operations, living and working on installation vessels. You will act as a subject matter expert, driving a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with HSE standards, legislation, and best practice.

  • Lead and promote a proactive, safety-first culture offshore
  • Provide expert guidance on HSE regulations, standards, and safe systems of work
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Conduct safety walks, inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Monitor HSE performance and report trends using internal systems
  • Engage closely with contractors, vessel teams, and project stakeholders
  • Support emergency response planning and compliance with HSE frameworks

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years’ HSE experience, ideally within offshore wind, renewables, or construction
  • Proven experience working in offshore environments
  • NEBOSH Level 3 (or equivalent) essential
  • Strong experience in incident investigation and risk management
  • Experience managing and influencing contractors and site teams
  • Valid CCNSG or CSCS safety passport
  • Offshore certifications (GWO, medical, fitness for offshore work)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Degree or diploma (Level 6) in HSE or related field
  • Experience delivering HSE training or audits

Working Environment:

  • Offshore-based role, working on jack-up or installation vessels
  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, working 10–12-hour days offshore
  • Occasional travel for project or stakeholder meetings
