About the Programme
The organisation is progressing a major Process & Systems Transformation programme to ensure UK readiness for a planned SAP S/4HANA single‑instance deployment. This role will deliver projects within the UK transformation portfolio, enabling integration with standardised enterprise processes and maximising long‑term business benefit.
About the Role
Reporting into a senior transformation lead, the Transformation Delivery Manager is accountable for the full lifecycle delivery of organisational transformation initiatives. Working independently, you will manage projects from concept through to entry into service, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost, and expected benefits. You will collaborate across multiple business functions to drive change, manage risk, and ensure strong governance, working within a structured enterprise project management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transformation initiatives end‑to‑end, developing and maintaining detailed project plans
- Manage cross‑functional delivery teams and multiple workstreams within a matrixed environment
- Ensure strong governance, reporting, and compliance with enterprise project management standards
- Deliver initiatives including process redesign, system implementation, operating model change, and capability uplift
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Drive stakeholder alignment at all levels, including senior leadership and governance boards
- Support effective change management to enable adoption and long‑term sustainability of delivered outcomes
- Provide clear, insightful updates on progress, risks, and benefits realisation
Proven experience delivering complex transformation or change programmes end‑to‑end as a Project Manager or Transformation Delivery Manager. Strong experience managing multiple stakeholders and workstreams in complex, regulated environments. Demonstrated delivery of process, systems, or operating model change. Availability to work in a contract or interim capacity with a strong delivery focus. Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC). Certified, or eligible for certification, at Level 3 or Level 4 within an enterprise project management framework. Formal project management qualifications or training. Experience delivering transformation within large, regulated, or highly complex organisations. Exposure to enterprise system implementations (e.g. ERP, planning tools, data platforms). Experience operating within formal PMO or governance frameworks. Background in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or technology environments.
