Contract: 18 May 2026 – 30 September 2026 (extension possible)
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts | 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (day & night shifts, weekends included)
This role supports our client, an international offshore wind farm developer, on their construction activities as part of a Global Marine & Helicopter Coordination Centre. This is a key operational role within Offshore Operations & Logistics, enabling safe offshore operations, secure transit and access to assets, and effective emergency response throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate emergency response, acting as first line coordinator and liaising with internal teams and external agencies
- Manage vessel and helicopter traffic control in line with approved procedures
- People, vessel, and communications tracking
- Manage WTG access restrictions and marine traffic access to the OWF
- Optimise vessel allocation and manage changes to daily schedules
- Operate offshore management systems ensuring personnel certification and asset compliance
- Provide and interpret weather forecasts and observation data, advising Project Teams and Vessel Masters
- Liaise with weather data providers and resolve data issues
- Stakeholder liaison (marine, HSE, helicopter operators, inspectors)
- Statutory reporting (pollution, lighting, drifting buoys, vessel infringements)
- Surveillance, vessel avoidance and emergency response planning
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Marine Coordination
- Strong experience in offshore emergency response
- Competent in: Supplier Databases for Offshore Operations, Radio communications, Maritime certification requirements
- Computer literate and confident with offshore systems
- Proven ability to work under pressure, proactively and as part of a team
- Experience with: Personnel tracking, Marine traffic control, Airspace coordination, Monitoring offshore weather & marine operations
