My client are at the forefront of a major digital transformation that will redefine how their UK Manufacturing Logistics Services operate. As part of a group‑wide ERP transformation programme, they are upgrading their SAP Enterprise Resource Planning capability from ECC6 to S/4HANA, with the aim of harmonising processes, improving data quality, and adopting SAP best‑practice standards across the organisation. They are now seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Manufacturing Logistics Services Analyst to join their UK Manufacturing transformation team. In this role, you will work closely with a Logistics Services Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support all preparation activities required ahead of the ERP implementation, ensuring logistics processes and data are fully ready for migration to S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Logistics Services SME across all preparation activities for the SAP S/4HANA ERP upgrade
- Document current‑state (AS‑IS and TO‑BE) manufacturing logistics processes
- Coordinate data preparation, cleansing, and validation activities, including:
- Master data cleansing and completion of incomplete records
- Removal of duplicate records
- Validation of warehouse storage locations and bin structures
- Input of mandatory logistics attributes (e.g. dimensions, weights) to support future processes
- Resolving discrepancies between physical inventory and system stock
- Cleaning open, obsolete, archived, or incorrect transactional records
Essential skills they are looking for
- Experience within a manufacturing logistics, supply chain, or Engineering environment
- Exposure to ERP systems, with SAP experience strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Experience supporting large‑scale transformation or system implementation projects
- Ability to document processes and manage complex, data‑driven activities
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with operational and technical stakeholders
- Prior involvement in SAP S/4HANA projects or ERP upgrades
- Exposure to SAP logistics modules such as EWM or TM
- Solid understanding of manufacturing logistics processes, including inventory management, warehousing, and production supply
- Experience with data migration, data governance, or data quality initiatives
- Exposure to warehouse automation or advanced storage solutions
