12-Month PAYE Contract | Type 26 Frigate Project | Immediate Start
Join a world-class defence project with BAE Systems, working on the cutting-edge Type 26 Frigates for the Royal Navy. Based in Glasgow, this is a fantastic opportunity for experienced electricians to contribute to a prestigious build in a secure and long-term role.
Base pay range
Glasgow Shift Patterns Hourly Rate
Weekend & Nightshift £26.73 or non-local £34.73
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems on naval vessels
- Reading and working from detailed technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Cable pulling, terminations, and general marine electrical works
- Ensuring work is completed to MOD standards with strict adherence to HSE
Qualifications
- Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
- Previous experience in marine, industrial, or shipbuilding environments preferred
- Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Shifts & Overtime
- Standard day shifts with weekend/night shifts available
- Regular overtime opportunities (paid at enhanced rates)
