We're seeking a Principal Test Development Engineer to lead the development and evolution of automated test solutions supporting sophisticated electronic and software-based products throughout their lifecycle.
The Opportunity
As a senior technical specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality, reliability and production efficiency through the design, enhancement and support of advanced Automated Test Equipment (ATE). Working closely with electronics, software and manufacturing teams, you'll influence future test strategies while remaining hands-on with complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of NI-based Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Design, develop and verify automated test solutions using TestStand, LabVIEW and FlexStand
- Design test fixtures and commission new test capability for products and subsystems
- Support production-critical test systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with design teams to embed Design for Test (DFT) principles into new products
- Mentor and support engineers within the test function
- Develop documentation, processes and long-term test strategies to support manufacturing and new product introduction
Essential Experience
- Strong practical experience with TestStand and automated functional testing
- Experience developing applications using LabVIEW
- Proven background in ATE design, test development or test system support
- Solid electronics engineering knowledge with the ability to read and understand schematics
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands-on use of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators and data acquisition systems
