Why Rail?
This Role will be focusing heavily on the Rail sector and capabilities within Ireland. Ireland is currently experiencing unprecedented investment in its rail sector, driven by the National Development Plan and Project Ireland 2040, with a strong focus on modernisation, capacity expansion, and sustainability. This includes plans for up to 790 new train carriages, many of them electric or battery-powered alongside significant upgrades to track, signalling, and level crossings to improve service frequency, safety, and journey times.
Substantial funding is also being allocated to the development of new stations, the redevelopment of major transport hubs, and enhancements to accessibility and customer facilities. Collectively, this large-scale investment programme is designed to support growing passenger demand, strengthen regional connectivity, and position rail as a central pillar of Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon, sustainable transport network.
In a nutshell, the rail market is gaining momentum — don’t miss your chance to grow with it! Apply Now!
