We’re looking for an Experienced Sales Consultant who is driven, competitive, and money-motivated, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
You’ll take full ownership of your desk, developing and nurturing trusted relationships, qualifying client requirements, designing strategic search plans, and providing expert advice to stakeholders - all to deliver high-quality, sustainable hires and maximise your earning potential.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for contract roles, from sourcing and engaging candidates to closing high-value placements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their hiring needs and providing expert market insight.
- Identify and engage top talent through strategic headhunting, networking, and targeted outreach across job boards and professional networks.
- Conduct interviews and match candidates with the right opportunities, ensuring a high-quality hiring experience.
- Advise clients and candidates with consultative, data-driven insights to support successful, sustainable hires.
- Drive results and exceed targets, both personally and as part of a high-performing team.
You will focus on clients across the UK, specialising in site resource roles such as design engineers, overhead line engineers, tendering specialists, and quantity surveyors. You will develop and grow your desk - the hub of your recruitment activity - where you’ll spend your days connecting with candidates, coordinating interviews, canvassing clients, and working closely with hiring managers to fill challenging roles. Business development, sales activities, and relationship-building are at the heart of this role, giving you the opportunity to maximise both your impact and your earnings.
What you will bring:
- A proven billing track record as a Consultant (sector experience not essential).
- Experience working in a sales driven environment.
- Strong capability in headhunting, relationship-led recruitment, and candidate care.
- Confidence in winning and qualifying roles through candidate-driven strategies.
- Commercial mindset with the resilience and motivation to grow a high-performing desk.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both candidates and clients.
