About the role
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer to become part of a well-established engineering team focused on testing embedded software for inverter and motor control systems, battery management systems (BMS), and charging software across both demonstrator and production projects. This position involves hands-on responsibilities, including leading testing efforts from start to finish, assisting with integration and debugging, and providing guidance to junior engineers.

What you’ll do
- Oversee and execute comprehensive testing strategies for embedded software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and test automation tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Skills & tools
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
