Job Description

At Gather & Gather Stadia, we specialise in hospitality for community-focused sports venues, delivering locally inspired, high-quality food and drink that elevates both the fan and guest experience and drives lasting impact.We take a boutique approach: combining personalised service, strong local partnerships and menus built around fresh, locally sourced ingredients that reflect the unique character of every stadium and its community.

We’re proud to bring energy, creativity, and care to every match day and event – and we’re looking for a General Manager to join our team at Peterborough FC.

The General Manager reports to the Operations Director and is responsible in driving the continuous development, delivery, and overall improvement of catering services at the Peterborough FC.. They will ensure delivery of a first-class catering experience to the Counties’ Members, corporate clients, and non-match day hospitality guests. The role encompasses managing a diverse range of in-house operations and catering services. They will provide a supportive environment to develop all members of the team to their potential.

Location: Peterborough United FC

Rate of pay: £50,000- £55,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management and development of all catering services to contribute to the overall business strategy

• Develop and lead with the implementation of operational plans, through the management team on all catering services

• Control and monitor the financial performance of the business and deliver on pre budgeted targets

• Ensure all food is prepared fresh and to a high standard through a close working relationship with the Kitchen team and personal monitoring at point of delivery

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with individuals at all levels

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager within sports stadia sector would be advantageous

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for fresh food and excellent hospitality

• Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
