We are currently recruiting for a General Manager at our Motorsport site.
Location: TN163BN
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday-Friday between 07:00-17:00 with occasional weekends and overnight when required.
Salary: £46,800 per annum + (Overnight 1.5 premium)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations for Business & Industry (B&I) catering, bespoke race day catering, and hospitality services, ensuring high standards of food quality, timely service, and client satisfaction across all areas.
- Supervise a core team of 6 permanent employees in the Murrays B&I team and a dynamic race day catering team of 10-12 staff, providing leadership, training, and motivation to ensure effective teamwork and the smooth execution of all catering events.
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business.
- Be the first point of reference for all client comments and concerns and take any necessary action.
- Conduct appropriate business review meetings with relevant clients to ensure that all targets, objectives and service level agreements are being met.
- Ensure the site achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget.
- Prepare, produce and present a monthly financial report for the Operations Managers/Directors detailing financial performance, activity and plans for the relevant site and outlining any necessary action that has been taken.
- To keep up to date with all COSHH and HACCP procedures and methods.
