We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team in Leeds.
Salary: £37,500 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 6:30-15:00, 40 hours per week
Location: LS10 1AB
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen during high-volume service, managing up to 800 covers at peak periods, ensuring consistent quality, timing, and presentation of high-end plated dishes, including the daily main course offer.
- Deliver a high-quality, budget-controlled menu with a focus on premium plated meals and a consistent “dish of the day” that meets both client expectations and commercial targets.
- Oversee production for the 24-hour micro market and ensure it is fully stocked before close, alongside preparing hot locker pre-order meals for 6pm collection, maintaining freshness, availability, and presentation.
- Manage, train, and support kitchen staff, ensuring strong performance, food safety compliance, and efficient service during peak periods.
- Drive culinary innovation and sales growth by delivering exceptional food standards, pushing boundaries, and leading from the front—collaborating closely with the team to showcase and maximise the use of seasonal and client-led products.
Requirement: Strong background in high-end restaurants and/or high-quality contract catering.
