2027 SCHOOL YEAR: Self Contained Classroom Teacher (R.E.A.C.H. Program) Grades TK-4th

Institution and Application Details

Current Gateway USD certificated employees must submit a request for consideration to the Director of Human Resources on or before the deadline. Gateway USD certificated employees are welcome to submit an application packet on Edjoin. All verifiable years of service will be credited.

SALARY: $59,681 - $122,390 Compensation & Stipends Based on 184 work days. Master's Degree Stipend - $1,500. Doctorate's Degree Stipend - $1,500.

Qualifications

  • Multiple Subject Credential Required for this position.
  • Knowledge of academic, social and behavioural characteristics of high-risk students.
  • Effective behaviour management of high-risk students.
  • Knowledge of instructional strategies appropriate for high-risk students.
  • Create a learning atmosphere which reflects a positive and understanding approach conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Create an age appropriate educational environment for at-risk students.
  • Applicant MUST POSSESS a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the assignment, including CLAD certification.
  • Documentation of these requirements MUST accompany the application.
