Gateway Primary Care are looking to appoint a part-time receptionist / administrator to join our friendly team. This position would suit a hardworking, enthusiastic, and caring person who likes to work in a busy patient-facing role. Hours are between 8am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday, and we are looking for between 18 and 24 hours per week. Additional hours will be needed occasionally to cover holidays and sickness.
Main duties of the job:
- Reception duties: face to face, answering telephone, booking appointments, care navigation, repeat prescriptions, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, dealing with patient queries, registrations and deductions, tasks and other general administrative duties.
- Adhering to the confidentiality policy.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent or experience in a similar role.
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
