About the Role

  • This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be responsible for:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of machinists and apprentices.
  • Planning and coordinating daily workshop activities.
  • Operating and overseeing horizontal borers, vertical borers and CNC equipment.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
  • Driving continuous improvement and developing workshop processes.

About You

You will have

  • Trade qualification as a Machinist.
  • Experience with horizontal and vertical boring.
  • Previous leadership or Leading Hand experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining practices.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and teamwork.
