We are seeking an experienced Property Intervention Officer to coordinate all aspects of managing disrepair cases including responses to letters, appointing legal services, scheduling surveyor attendances/managing their diaries and commissioning of works . In this pivotal role, you will lead and coordinate GHA's Alternative Dispute Resolution function, providing a clear and constructive pathway for resolving resident concerns before escalation . You will be organised, detail focused, able to work independently, using sound judgement to progress cases, resolve issues and know when to escalate in a busy repairs and maintenance service.
Your accountabilities will include but not be limited to:
Communicate regularly with residents about upcoming works, timescales, and potential impacts
Coordinating repairs with surveyors, 3rd party consultants and delivery partners on investigation, remediation and response to cases (disrepair and Awaab's Law)
Maintaining robust records of visits and inspection findings on GHA operating systems providing review and recommendations for senior management on areas that need further improvements or actions
Effective management of disrepair and Awaab's law budgets, minimising avoidable costs, and increase value for money in the management of the function.
