We are looking for an Assistant Communications Business Partner (12 months FTC) to help shape and deliver communication plans that support organisational priorities, transformation programmes, and key projects. The post holder will act as a trusted contact for teams across the organisation, providing communications advice, developing engaging content, and ensuring consistency in messaging aligned with Gateway’s brand and tone of voice.
Accountabilities
- Coordinate and deliver internal communications content including newsletters, intranet updates, presentations, and staff briefings.
- Support the planning and delivery of communications activity linked to Gateway’s centenary programme, as part of wider organisational communications.
- Support the delivery of resident-facing communications, ensuring information is clear, timely and accessible.
- Support and champion the consistent application of Gateway’s brand and tone of voice across all communications.
- Support and, where appropriate, lead internal campaigns to promote key initiatives, projects and organisational updates.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of internal events, including corporate briefings, engagement sessions and staff activities.
Key skills and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of internal and external communications planning and delivery.
- Experience using digital communication tools, social media platforms and content management systems.
- Experience working in a communications role with responsibility for content creation and delivery.
