Gateway Group is seeking an experienced Component Mechanic to join our heavy equipment workshop in High Wycombe. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, overhaul and test heavy components while upholding strict safety and workmanship standards.
Your duties include:
- Stripping and rebuilding engines, transmissions, differentials, torque converters and hydraulic components
- Reading manuals and drawings
- Completing inspection reports
- Assessing wear against OEM specs
- Identifying causes and corrective actions
