About the Role
As part of our Maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in keeping our production lines running smoothly. From planned maintenance to tackling breakdowns, you'll be at the centre of ensuring our machinery operates efficiently and reliably. You'll also help drive improvements, finding smarter solutions, learning from past issues, and contributing to continuous innovation across the site.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to a high standard
- Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Supporting improvement projects and engineering solutions
- Managing spare parts and updating maintenance systems
- Working safely and within all health & safety guidelines
- Supporting and developing apprentices
- Working a continental shift pattern (6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am)
What We're Looking For
- Time-served, multi-skilled engineer with 3-5 years experience in manufacturing
- Experience with print, cutting, or converting machinery (desirable)
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
- Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems
- Comfortable using systems and basic IT tools
- Flexibility to cover both sites when required
